This initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Environment (MINAM), the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), the FAO, and Profonanpe, Peru's environmental fund. The funding comes from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through its GEF Agrobiodiversity-SIPAM Project, in partnership with the Peruvian Association of Consumers and Users (ASPEC).
